Pinch

Pinch compresses the back of an object inward, with the effect increasing toward the top. This creates a tapered or squeezed appearance.

How to Use

  1. Select an object
  2. Apply the Pinch operation from the Reshape menu
  3. Adjust the pinch percentage

Parameters

  • Back Ratio - How much the back of the part is pinched inward (0-300%, default: 50%). Higher values = more compression

Tips

  • Pinch works from back to front, compressing the rear of the object
  • Use this to create tapered, narrowing shapes from rectangular or cylindrical objects
  • For radial (all-around) compression, use Radial Pinch instead
